From performances at prestigious venues to impromptu outdoor improvisations, Ruth Priscilla Kirstein, “Petrouchka,” has moved, connected and informed audiences in America, Europe and the Middle East.

Ably spanning centuries and cultures, she is an authentic period performer and an expert improviser. She uniquely specializes in crossing fencing with dance.

Petrouchka performs in English, French, German, Latin and Yiddish. She has directed works in English, German, French, Russian and Italian. She takes directions in Spanish, Italian and Ladino and is studying Arabic. She is proficient in medical and scientific terminology. She also works as language coach for film, television and voice-over.
